"Christianity" and "Anarchism" have both often been the sources of a lot of stigma in their own respective rights. Is it possible that in exploring the political dimension of the spiritual Gospel, the faith of Christianity and the modern political theory of Anarchism can dialogue with each other? And if such is the case, what are the implications of peacemaking toward a world ravaged by war, greed, capitalism, and Empire?
Several different Christian movements are going to have a presence at this conference, the third of its kind in the UK in recent years. Among these groups will be I:58, Peace School, Student Christian Movement, and SPEAK. Beyond this, the gathering is open to people of all backgrounds, whether Christians, Anarchists, neither, or both. In previous years we've been delegates of all denominations and none. Humanists, Evangelicals, Catholics, Quakers, and many others come together to meet, learn from one another and produce a fascinating weekend.
